The Artist
I was born in 1935 in Kaposvar. After finishing my studies in college, I went to ELTE and became a physicist. But I was always interested in psychology and after 1 year of being at the National Meresugyi Hivatal, I joined the KPM and MAV Aptitude Examination Institute.
There, they made it possible for me to obtain my psychology diploma via correspondence from ELTE.
I had the opportunity to deal with personal and work psychology topics.
Then in 1968, I organized a Labor Elektani Laboratory at the Kaposvar Villamossagi Gyar. At the time, I was dealing with color dynamics and color theories, and I obtained my doctorate in these sciences, as well as in mathematical logic and the history of philosophy.
This is how I organized the Tanacs VB Palyavalasztasi (Career Choice) Institute in Somogy county and became its leader.
Later, as an associate professor at Tanitokepzo Foiskola in Kaposvar, I dealt with conflict research and worked on the scientific topic of teaching practice.
In 1978, I won an award from East Germany and had the opportunity to visit two German universities and colleges for the purpose of gaining experience and exchanging knowledgebase. I have published several publications on these subjects.
After 10 years of higher education and publishing activity, I received the Specialized Pedagogical Psychologist certificate.
In 1980, I traveled to Budapest again. I continued to work as a psychologist. That's when my interest in herbal medicine was awakened. I studied and taught again. I have been dealing with the various fields of herbal medicine both at home and abroad for about a decade.
I worked and taught as a specialist in natural medicine and psychology at the Scientific Association of Budapest Termeszetgyogyaszok. I wrote my book 'Aromatherapy'.
After that, I spent more time in Germany due to family reasons.
There I continued to study various aspects of herbal medicine, as well as esoteric literature and parapsychology. I translated into German the inspiration I received when I was 22 years old. The German version of this was also published as a private edition.
I began to depict the scenes, views, and symbols of ancient ideals in my paintings.
I presented the text of the manuscript and my first seven paintings, which I made with a new painting process, to Christa Hammel, an artist from Esslingen, who encouraged and initiated my artistic career.
In Hungary, art curator Dr. Patakyne Dr. Ilona Brestyanszky, the retired department head of the Hungarian National Gallery, encouraged me further and worked actively to ensure that, together with painter Denes Gulyas, university teacher, I would be recognized by the official Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts:
My new painting process was judged by the jury, as well as the content of the pictures. It received positive reviews.
In May 1994, 59 of my paintings were presented at the Gellert Szallo. After that, I received 11 invitations for exhibitions.
This is how I have ended up with an exhibition in Tihany, as well as in Budakeszi.
